The 5000-00 is a perfect option to replace and upgrade the nut in a lot of Fender-styleelectric guitars.

It will work in both a flat bottom or curved bottom nut slot due to its ingenious design, just sand off the tab for a curved bottom.

As a general rule of thumb… (it’s never 100%, there are always exceptions, but…)

• If the Fender spec sheet says Modern C neck and doesnt call it vintage, assume 9.5″ radius.

• If its marketed as Vintera, American Vintage, Road Worn, 50s/60s correct, expect 7.25″ unless they explicitly say otherwise. (our 5072-00 model has a 7.25″ radius)

• American Standard / American Series / American Special / American Performer / American Pro (I & II) / Player / Player II Strats & Teles are all 9.5″.

It is pre-slotted to make for a quick and easy install.
