Flood-Guard 4 In. Float Gasket

Flood-Guard 4 In. Float Gasket is a reliable defense against sewer back-ups, designed to safeguard your property and prevent messy clean-up jobs. This product operates as an effective check valve, ensuring that water back-up caused by overloaded sewers doesnt create havoc in your home. Under normal conditions, water flows seamlessly through the drain, but when the sewer starts to back up, Flood-Guards smart float mechanism comes into action. The float rises, sealing off the drain opening and preventing any water from entering your living space until the water recedes. Installing the Flood-Guard is a breeze and requires only a screwdriver and a couple of minutes of your time. Once in place, you can have peace of mind knowing that your property is protected from potential water damage caused by sewer back-ups. To guarantee lasting durability, the gaskets are made of molded rubber, and all metal parts are either plated or made from stainless steel. This construction ensures that the Flood-Guard is resistant to corrosion, providing you with a reliable and long-lasting solution.Model Number: 4FH
